Christmas Mass (25 Dec 2011 @ 5:30pm)

The church is flowery decorated and "Father" presents to every family with a small gift. When I opened it, there were 2 sweets and a small magnetic prayer that read "God answers prayers" . It can be stuck onto the fridge's door. But I stuck it near me, i.e. the desktop's hard disk just right of me so that I can see it every moment!

This is the way, the church here does its way.. we all love the surprise gift and no doubt, Father here always bless the children before the end of the mass which is exceptionally different and each time, it gives me lots of lifting spirits when the children song is sung.

At the end of the mass, I took many photos and of course we all shaked hands with Father to greet him a very blessed "Merry Xmas & happy NY".

Pre Christmas Gathering (23 Dec 2011)

This year, didnt call back all students who leave before the Xmas season. Thus leaving a few and some parents to come for the party cum gathering. With this type of small figure of people, it is more close in a sense!

We have home cooked food and our party started at 6:40pm until 9pm. Every one left with a small christmas gift from me.

Simple life

In every Christmas Day, I try to assess myself when can I live more simply?
It was one of my emails with my sis-in-law, ie my husband's only sister who is a very simple lady with a very kind heart. She is a devote buddhist. She wrote that she wanted to donate most of her clothings and things to associations to all those in need.
She wanted her new home with simple things and live very simply. She didnt want to buy extra furnitures and extra things to make the house messy and need so much time to clean or arrange them but rather her time to be devoted to all those needy in her surroundings.

When can I be like her? Can I throw all the things that belong to my children that were kept by me for so many decades already? Can I just simply throw away all books and any clothings that are not in use now? I am still skeptical about myself then, throwing away can just take a few minutes but what if I need them? Am I going to buy them over and over? Isnt it another wasteful thing?

Undecided!.. When can I live as simply as possible like a "nun"?

Our life is like a sign for directions. ( In fact, last night, I have this post uploaded but due to time constraint.)

Sometimes, we are on top of the world.
Some times, we are at a junction, which direction to go and at times, we are even at the lowest of the world, we may not even like to invite friends into our daily life.

Most times, life is with such reality that you will start to question if some one is really that kind to you or otherwise. The sign "?" is behind your brain. Consciously or subsciously, it is a wish that any leader(s) or subordinates with you, leave it to the natural trail of life, no pushing, no forcing. In any universal law, any one who is God abiding, he/she is very willing to do anything out of his/her own ways. Don't you think so?

Y 101% ?

Sometimes, I like to stress certain things, if I want my listener(s) to be on my side then, I will add in that 101% correct or definite to convince something across.

We used to say early bird catches most worms. For me, no...... definitely, I don't eat worms but I love reading or surfing thro the net if there is anything special today. While singing praises to God in the early morn, watching video clips and etc. I got an email from my friend.

She is a friend of over 30 years to be exact, who is so kind to send me every wonderful messages to me. I can't stop myself to get this message to be shared. You can just view, how amazing Mathematics vs alphabets.

At the same time, in the end, we all just have to believe there is existence of God.

Life vs Coffee

Do you like coffee? Yes, definitely to most people. As for me, I love different types of taste. For every Monday, I can enjoy few types in our VVIP lounge in my office but as today is a public holiday, I can enjoy visual coffee here.

Visiting MV Logos Hope

THOSE WHO find hope in God will find new strength. Isaiah 40 vs. 31 (Poster from the ship RM4/-)

We bought books, bible, writing pads with daily bibilical verses, poster and over a dozen pens.

In Logos, they sold items according to units.

100 Units = RM8/-

Posters and pens are sold RM4/- & RM2/- each.

It is a blessing to have MV Logos Hope perching at this port this time. It was 1973 when I was young Form 2 girl that I visited the ship. This time, I brought some of my family members along and at the same time, I told most of my students to have a good visit during the coming holidays before the ship set sail again.



On board, there is a variety of books in the shelves and can only snapped some.
Yesterday, we briefly met this staff Viktor who is a Hungarian. His friendliness and ability to speak good Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia (Malay Languag) caught our attention.

Today, we also found this lady staff creative with her face painting and tatooing among some students.

When can I soar ?

In life, (o... yes, take a minute or two to close your eyes now... recalling back to the day, you still remember in your main brain), when was the day, you started to think you wanted to SOAR like an eagle, as freedom as a bird flying to the horizon of this earth that no body dares to bother you or anything!
You wanted this, that and then further expectations such as owning a luxurious car of your wish or even a very nice bangalow of your wish.

Have you had that thought before? (or even an imagination at that time or now, you even dare not to think?) (There are a hundred if not a thousand of people around you might have such feeling that they even didnt dare to think or imagined, have you ever encountered? or vice-versa.)

Is it too late to soar....? Does it has a limit of age to soar? Does it mean that those people over certain age cannot soar and wait for the end of the world? All those, it still depends on what angle you see, what position you stand to see another?

Thou shall not judge.

Let me be your servant

Have you ever been such, once a while you will feel so low, so high. However, if you have such feeling, do always remember God. He will lead you to the highest.

Life & abortion & discarding a child.

Over the past fornight, we read news round the globe about the passing of Apple's Founder Steve Jobs, many other news about abortion here and there and then of late was the news of a small town Betong, Sarawak that a student slashed her young infant born baby girl in her hostel.

It just broke my heart whenever, I read about those illegimate children as their parents were either too young to feed their new borns or those who are not going to bear responsibilities at all. After the forbidden fruit was eaten. Once, the silent cry that my colleague ever shared with me about the growing baby in the womb that the mother requested the doctor to kill him/her with the piercing needle into the body of such tiny thingy in the womb and eventually died or rather burst off in the form of blood only! How cruel it was to have such scenes if it being replayed thousand of times in your very eyes!

Give an imagination of those pain the little thing/baby is going through the agony. Does he/she needs to bear such or it was the job of their parents who had sex and gave them the "cross" to bear.

For those innocents being aborted or even killed after the birth, how regrettable it was when all those "genuises" to be, could be another great inventor(s). Moreover, with the carrying of the foetus of nine (9) months is of nothing of shame to the mother-to-be and yet the killing of the new borns could be done without mercy! Leaving all those kind hearts in awe of why the new borns were not sent for adoption than killing them. Did it mean "revenge" to the one, who did the pregnancy or another finger to be pointed to oneself of why such act(s) were done in the beginning?

In whatsoever way, it is still the bringing up of each child in the family, in the environment that one lives! Does it mean that once a child has reached certain age of puberty, he/she should be taught with "SEX" then, we ask again, why in the donkey years of my time, nobody ever said about such word, but we are all very resilient to such acts!

Any parent out there reading this post, do observe of how you guide your children and never mention that "dick' as often as necessary, whereas, other words like books, success, future and so many things can be mastered before any thingy related to 'dicks".

Daily challenges of life

Once getting out of bed, most working mothers have to prepare breakfast for family and self and setting off to finish up the first step of things at home before embarking on the journey to work or sending the school children off to school.

Perhaps even at the school gate, one will be greeted by the so called "Tiger teachers" or "tiger parents" grumbling about the children they have or soever.

Later, in the office, one will face another "bitch to be " colleagues and so forth.

Even at the junction of the traffic lights, you and me could just simply get one or two swearing fingers without your knowledge of why? Only to the extent that we have forbidden to do so.

Next, you could have bumped into another car due to the policeman directly traffic against the traffic lights!

Now, did you have such encounterment before reading this? Whatsoever, why dont you share with me, what are your thoughts without a penny from me?

A little corner of in our hearts....

This morning, I had a good breakfast with a nun(sister). She is a some 70 year old sister but she doesn't look like one as she is very contented with life thus most of her words are not only encouraging, she said, we all have to let go of many things in this earthly world.

Later, we shared a lot about those missionaries that we both knew and at one part of her conversation, she said this:-"One priest told the parishioners - we all should have a little corner of our heart for the poor!"

She told me, even though the priest had since passed away for many years, in her reflection, she always remembered that statement what the priest had said.How often we have our that little corner for the poor?

Some rich or those or even myself at times, questioned, do I need to as I have slogged so hard for a living and yet I have to give out for others? If we often do so, will we help those lazy ones to get advantage over us? Do all poor are real poor to be considered POOR?

It always lies a big ? in my mind. Over the years of my life journey, at times of being so naive to those so called poor, I was ended up as a victim as once I fully trusted a kampong lady to come over to my house-keeping. Slowly and by bits, she took many of my clothes back without my knowledge until I realised it one day, but it was too late, as I have no evidence to corner her.

Should I curse or being angry to her or myself then? Slowly, over the time, the hurt was healed as I kept telling myself that at least not other valuables were lost. For that matter of things, it wont made her richer either!

It is still very skeptical of me at times to have that little corner in my heart for such poor!

(excuse me, if I ever pierce your heart, if you happen to read my words. But it is only reality that bites, many people are like that without gratitude.)

Life is a dream.

Have you reflected back over the years when you were just 3, 4, 5 or 10 years old?
Could you recall? What did you do then? Did you run like a wild horse?
Did you fight like a fierce lion? Did you cry like a meek sheep or a silly cow?
Were you just a naive kampong boy, girl not knowing much about the outside world beyond your horizon at that time? Did you go swimming?

Next, in your secondary life, did you join your friends to do photography shooting?
Developing films in the dark rooms? Join any society or uniform groups? Were you a leader in your class or in the school prefect team? Did you volunteer to do something in your school or any where then? Were you rewarded? Did you feel bad if you were lost? Did you feel good?

Post secondary, where were you then? Went to university? What did you do there? Just played as hard, lost your credits in your results or you were damn hard working and yet you didnt enjoy much of your life? Or you were straight into the working line?

If you are working for someone, every year, you expect to climb up the ladder to expect higher salary? Expect to have grasped the higher post and at the same time
being honoured by your boss but over the years, you didnt see it at all that it should have happened, instead, you were actually sliding down the ladder like the slide and still got your meagre salary, right?

Not only that, your boss will seldom honour you with big rewards. Some are rewarded with pewter plates and only to be collecting dusts in your sitting room. Some could have got some bonus which not even enough to have a good dinner for your family members. Worst of all, may be with over 20 years of service, they even didnt bother to say a good "good bye" on your last day with them.

Now, at the end of the 2nd quarter of the life, most people will say, "ah, it's enough, I think I better start my own little space for little business which called my own." Do you?

(Firstly, I apologize for not continuing earlier and yet, it has a year passed.)

When we were first exposed to NATURE STUDY, we were taught with living things and non living things. Living things are things that grow, need water, air, sunlight and food. Those living things are like human beings, fishes, animals, trees, flowers and plants. While the non livings are with no feelings, such as tables, chairs, cars and those which won't tell you it is hurt "aiyok"!!!.

Now, if the human embryo deposits in a proper position in the womb, it will grow up quite fast and in the nine(9) months, it grows to some 45cm or so and usually a normal baby will be born around with 2.5Kg or above (considering Asian size) depending on the many factors that a mother has. Some babies are born with smaller sizes due to food intake by the mothers or other factors, may be the mother is a very young one or rather immature enough to have babies yet esp. those around or below 22 of age is considered not mature to have strong babies. Usually, cases of these are that, the mortality rate is very high. Those embryos that didnt deposit in the proper positions such as transverse and breech babies that need casearean or those embryos that deposit near the tip of the vagina with the womb, then casearean is needed too. But for most cephalic position babies, they are usually born normally thro the birth canal unless the big babies, then the casearean are recommended.

Even those with older age, some women do have problematic babies may be due to the medicines taken, radioactive exposure etc during the pregnancies or improper care. Those over 38 years of age usually will be triply informed by gynaecologist that at times, the babies will be born with down syndrome. Thus, those mothers to be, do visit the gynae more often to have better advices either thro scan and other informations.

Whatsoever it is, there is always a life after each embryo lives or even germinates as in the plants colony. Have you ever tried to plant a lime seed? a lemon seed? a mango seed, a pea flower seed and some longan seeds? You will notice that after a few days or even weeks, it start to ripe open and then, you can see the little greenish thingy coming out of the seed. Thus a life is thriving soon.

Now it comes to question is that who can make such living thing grows? It is God.
He who makes heaven and earth. After that, he makes lots of living things around us.

I will only write generally what life is dealing mostly on human lifes, plants, fishes or some animals around me.
